Sahara Force India Formula One Team missed out on points at Chinese Grand Prix

Read more...Sahara Force India Formula One Team missed out on points at Chinese Grand Prix  after Paul di Resta finishing 12th and Nico Hulkenberg ending 15th. Force India missed out on points for the first time during this season.

It was difficult last few laps for both the Force India drivers as their position on the grid was not that good and they had difficult time recovering. To the credit of both Force India drives at least they improved on bad positions on the grid.

Paul di Resta told after the race that it was an extremely close race and although they were able to keep themselves in the hunt, they were just missing the pace to catch other drivers on the grid and make up any more ground.

Govt to continue with Haj subsidy, but only once in a lifetime

Read more...Government of India has informed the Supreme Court that it has decided to restrict Hajj pilgrimage at government subsidy to Muslims only as once in a lifetime as against the existing policy of once in five years.

Apart from that central government has also proposed that the official delegation to Saudi would now comprise 10 members every year instead of 35 currently following the Supreme Court remarks on huge delegation visiting Saudi Arabia every year.

However the Centre refrained from disclosing the amount of subsidy being incurred by it for 2012 Hajj as currently it is 47,000 per haji. Following Saudi government regulation that forced Air India to exit and re-enter without picking any passengers it may increase from this year as Hajj is going to be a slightly more costly affair for Indian Government.
