Indian Railways Chart Preparation Time

Charting  is normally done 4 hour before the departure of the train

The chart is put on each compartment or coach on the indian railways train, You can check out your name on it and get an idea on the seating arrangement too.

railway chart is generally a white sheet of paper with indexed with the names of people with reservation on that particular coach.

Even if you have a e-ticket you must see to it that you name is listed.
